Wolverine

Injury recovery: tendon, ligament, muscle and joint repair

Also known as: Wolverine Stack, BPC-157 + TB-500

RecoveryHealth

Why This Rating?

The classic two-peptide healing duo. BPC-157 provides localized repair signaling and angiogenesis; TB-500 provides broader cell migration and systemic healing. It accelerates recovery rather than building muscle or altering hormones, so it sits low on the natty scale, a 2, matching both of its components (BPC-157 and TB-500 are each rated 2) and consistent with the GLOW/KLOW blends that contain these same peptides plus more. Both peptides are WADA-prohibited for tested athletes, BPC-157 under S0 (non-approved substances) and TB-500 under S2.

Overview

The go-to "recovery foundation" stack: BPC-157 plus TB-500. Used for tendon/ligament/muscle repair, joint healing, gut healing and general recovery. Considered complementary: BPC-157 acts locally (often injected near the injury) while TB-500 works systemically. Frequently used as the base that other stacks (e.g. GH secretagogues) are layered onto.

What's In It

Protocol

BPC-157 250-500 mcg/day subcutaneously (once daily or split), run daily throughout. TB-500 with a loading phase (~2-2.5 mg twice weekly, some run ~4-8 mg/week total) for the first ~4-6 weeks, tapering to ~2 mg/week maintenance. 4-8 weeks for acute injuries; up to ~12 weeks for chronic/post-surgical cases. Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water.

Typical cycle length:4-12 weeks

Timing & Order

  • BPC-157 can be injected near the injury site when practical for a more localized effect.
  • TB-500 is tapered from a loading phase down to maintenance rather than run flat.

Support Supplements

Adequate protein & vitamin C

Supports the collagen/connective-tissue synthesis involved in tendon/ligament repair.

Dose
Protein to bodyweight goals; vitamin C ~80-500 mg/day
Timing
Daily

Collagen peptides

Provides connective-tissue building blocks; sometimes timed ~30-60 min before rehab loading.

Dose
10-15 g/day
Timing
Daily; some dose pre-rehab session

Cautions

  • Not evaluated in controlled human clinical trials. The combined regimen is community/practitioner-defined.
  • Sourcing/purity vary; use tested product with a certificate of analysis.
  • WADA-prohibited peptides: not for tested athletes.

Post Cycle Therapy (PCT)

PCT Not Required

Neither component is hormonal. No PCT required.
