Among enhanced users it is a favoured blood-pressure tool on cycle because, unlike older beta-blockers, its NO-driven vasodilation and beta-1 selectivity are associated with fewer reports of erectile dysfunction, fatigue and adverse lipid/metabolic effects.

Why enhanced users reach for it for blood pressure
Anabolic steroids commonly raise blood pressure. Nebivolol is a favoured tool because of its NO-driven vasodilation and its lower reported impact on erectile function and lipids compared with older beta-blockers, often used alongside or instead of an ARB like telmisartan, dosed to actual BP readings.
It caps your heart rate: a trade-off for cardio
Because it blocks beta-1 receptors, nebivolol lowers heart rate and can blunt maximal aerobic/endurance performance. That is expected pharmacology, not a defect, but it is worth knowing if you do a lot of high-intensity conditioning.

Typical starting dose is 5 mg once daily, titrated at roughly 2-week intervals up to 10, 20 or a maximum of 40 mg/day if needed for adequate blood-pressure control. Beta-1 selectivity is dose-dependent. Nebivolol is most cardioselective near the 5 mg starting dose and progressively loses selectivity (starts blocking beta-2 receptors as well) above about 10 mg. This is a prescription drug. Dose to actual blood-pressure readings, do not stop abruptly (rebound), and it should be prescribed and monitored by a physician.
Side Effects
Fatigue / tiredness

How It Works
Nebivolol blocks beta-1 adrenergic receptors in the heart (reported as roughly 3.5x more beta-1-selective than bisoprolol), lowering heart rate and cardiac output. Distinctively, it also potentiates nitric oxide (NO) (described as an NO-potentiating, vasodilatory effect via beta-3 receptor stimulation) which relaxes blood vessels and lowers peripheral resistance. This vasodilating component is what sets it apart from conventional beta-blockers.

WADA Status
Nebivolol is not prohibited in most sports. However, beta-blockers as a class are banned in certain precision sports (e.g. archery, shooting): historically restricted by the IOC in disciplines such as archery, shooting, golf and snooker.
